IT security for small and medium-sized companies

IT security that does not get pushed aside by day-to-day business.

BITSS takes on recurring security tasks, either alongside your in-house IT or as the responsible point of contact. Personally managed, centrally monitored and with a clearly defined scope of service.

No product pitch. We start by clarifying risks, existing systems and responsibilities.

A business risk, not just a technical topic

Attacks are not the only risk. Unclear responsibilities are enough on their own.

Many companies own a firewall, antivirus software and a backup. What often remains open is who checks their status, assesses alerts, follows up on exceptions and acts when it matters.

01

Business interruption

A failed server, encrypted data or a locked account stops your processes, even though individual security products are in place.

02

Unclear recovery

A backup that reports success does not yet answer which systems become usable again, and in which order.

03

Dependence on one person's knowledge

Without documentation and defined responsibilities, holidays, illness or staff changes turn into an additional IT risk.

What changes

Management gains control instead of isolated technical details.

BITSS translates security tasks into a transparent operating framework: who is responsible, what is monitored, which deviations are open and how they are handled.

Check where you stand in six questions

Overview

System status, alerts and open tasks become visible before something breaks, not only afterwards.

Responsibility

For every managed module it is defined what BITSS takes on and what stays with your company.

Predictability

Ongoing services and costs are defined in advance instead of arising only when something goes wrong.

Traceability

Documented systems, changes and responsibilities reduce your dependence on what someone happens to remember.

Managed services

Six tasks that need to be handled permanently.

Not every company needs all modules straight away. What matters is looking at gaps and dependencies together and building the service around the actual risk.

Email Security

Reducing phishing, identity abuse and malicious messages before they reach the mailbox.

Closing known vulnerabilities on a schedule and making exceptions visible.

How BITSS works

From a grown IT estate to clearly defined support.

Our work does not start with a product catalogue. It starts with the open tasks and their effect on your business.

1

Record what exists

Systems, providers, protective measures, responsibilities and business-critical processes are mapped out.

2

Prioritise risks

Urgent basics are separated from later improvements. Not every problem is equally critical.

3

Define the service

Scope, responsibilities, escalation paths and costs are defined in plain language and in writing.

4

Manage it continuously

Monitoring, updating, documentation and reporting become recurring operational tasks.

Why BITSS

Personal accountability without relying on word of mouth.

Your named contact knows your environment. At the same time, services, changes and responsibilities are documented transparently and managed centrally.

Personally reachable

You speak to someone who knows your systems and what has been agreed.

A process, not a single product

Technology is only used where operation, accountability and benefit have been clarified.

With or without in-house IT

BITSS can take on missing security tasks or specifically support an existing IT manager.

Frequently asked questions

What is worth clarifying before the first conversation.

Is BITSS only intended for companies without their own IT?

No. BITSS can act as your external point of contact or support an existing administrator or IT provider with defined security tasks. What matters is clear interfaces.

Does existing technology have to be replaced?

No. We first assess what can safely stay in service, where maintainability is lacking and which changes actually deliver business value.

What does 24/7 monitoring mean at BITSS?

The agreed systems can be monitored automatically around the clock. When a member of staff responds and which response time applies depends on the scope of service you book and is set out in the contract.

What does ongoing support cost?

Costs depend on the number and type of systems, the tasks taken on and the agreed response times. After the initial review you receive a clearly delimited scope of service with predictable costs.

Can we start with a single module?

Yes. The services are modular. Dependencies on backup, identities, updates, firewall and documentation are still considered together so that no new gap appears.

What happens in the initial call?

We clarify your existing environment, the largest open risks and the responsibilities. That shows whether BITSS is a good fit and which next steps make sense. It does not create a contract.

No-obligation first contact

First clarify the situation. Then decide.

In the initial call we look at your existing systems, open risks and responsibilities. You receive a clear assessment of which measures really take priority.
